We had to create a code mirror on github to get our gitlab on-prem repo to be able to build with gatsby cloud.

We currently need to maintain an additional piece of infrastructure + complexity, just to sync our on-premise GitLab repo(s) to GitHub, so it can be picked up by Gatsby Cloud. In addition to the complexity, it also takes up extra time, which is something you really try to avoid by using Gatsby.
